  • For an optimal user experience, we suggest you go with Google Chrome. While Safari, Firefox, and other browsers will also do the job, we'd advise you to steer clear of Internet Explorer.

  • While tablets and smartphones offer a world of convenience, when it comes to uploading your organizer attachments, we've found that the good old laptop or desktop still reigns supreme. There are limited functionalities on your mobile devices, but for the smoothest experience, most of our clients find that a computer is the way to go.

  • Just a simple click on the link in your email from SafeSend will set you on your way. You'll be prompted to key in the last four digits of your Social Security Number - a small step towards ensuring your security. Next, you'll request an Access Code, which SafeSend will promptly deliver to your inbox. All you need to do then is copy this Access Code and paste it onto the next screen, ideally within a 20-minute window.

  • No matter the age of the email from SafeSend Returns, you can click on any link within it. Doing so will prompt a fresh Access Code to be dispatched to your inbox from noreply@safesendreturns.com.

  • In the spirit of transparency and control, you'll have the opportunity to peruse every detail of your tax return before you put pen to paper, or in this case, cursor to e-signature box. It's your tax return, and we believe you should have the full picture before making your mark.

  • In line with IRS requirements, you'll need to respond to a series of knowledge-based authentication questions prior to signing. Don't worry if you stumble on these questions - after three attempts, you'll have the option to print your e-file forms, sign them, and then securely upload them back to Chu & Waters.

  • In the spirit of ensuring a smooth and orderly process, each taxpayer will individually navigate through the signing procedure. Once the initial taxpayer has successfully signed, the second taxpayer will receive an invitation via email from SafeSend to affix their signature.

  • In instances where an individual may not have a substantial history in the U.S., possibly due to being under 18 years old or residing outside the U.S., the availability of government and financial data may be limited. This could make it challenging to formulate knowledge-based authentication questions.

  • Stay on top of your tax game with our system's regular reminders. Every seven days, or even more frequently as the deadline draws near, we'll gently nudge you to sign your documents.

  • Nope. Feel free to take a breather and step away from your return whenever you need to. Our system is designed to accommodate your schedule, allowing you to return and pick up where you left off at any time.

  • As you navigate through the process, you'll be presented with the chance to establish a reminder schedule for your estimated payments. This feature puts you in control, allowing you to select a timing that perfectly aligns with your schedule.

  • Yes. Once you've dotted the i's and crossed the t's on your returns, you'll have the freedom to download and print them whenever you need.

  • Signer Delegation is a game-changer in the world of tax returns. It's a feature that allows an individual, who isn't the signer, to review a tax return and then delegate the signature responsibility to the authorized person. This comes in handy especially in business scenarios where typically a CFO or Controller scrutinizes the return, but the actual signing is done by another individual, like the CEO.

  • Once you've put your signature on the return you can choose to securely email the recipients directly, or if you prefer the traditional route, you can easily download and print the K-1s to mail yourself.

  • In the spirit of flexibility and control, we empower you to share your return or select portions of it with anyone you deem necessary. To ensure the accuracy of email addresses and safeguard your sensitive information, we've implemented an identity verification process for all recipients.

  • Your tax return is an important document, and we want to make it easy for you to access it whenever you need it. That's why we keep your tax return in our system for seven years. To download your tax return, simply click on any link in any email from our system. It doesn't matter how old the email is. You will receive a link with an Access Code. You can then proceed to download an electronic copy of your return.

  • Just reach out to your Chu & Waters contact by phone or email.

  • We understand that your data is important to you, and we take its security very seriously. That's why we encrypt all client data using industry-standard encryption algorithms. This means that your data is protected from unauthorized access, even if our systems are compromised.

In addition to encrypting your data and storing it on secure servers, we also restrict access to authorized accounts. This means that only authorized users can access your data. We also use a variety of security measures to prevent unauthorized users from accessing your data, including two-factor authentication and password protection.
